Pamela Anderson seems to have brought some bad luck with her to the Bigg Boss 4 reality show. On the day she arrived, the information and broadcasting ministry ordered television channels not to telecast Bigg Boss 4 along with Rakhi Ka Insaaf before 11 pm as it feels the shows are not suitable for universal viewing. These shows can only be aired between 11 pm and 5 am.

Pamela Anderson, who came to the limelight in the serial Bay Watch, has stepped into the Big Boss 4 house while on her maiden visit to India. On her arrival, she was given a rousing welcome by the Big Boss 4 inmates.

Draped in a white sari, the lady, who also modelled for Playboy, greeted every one with a ‘Nammastey’. Pamela will remain as guest in the Bigg Boss 4 house for only three days.

A lot has been happening at the Salman Khan-hosted show, with the most exciting incident being the wedding of TV actress Sara Khan and her beau Ali Merchant. Grapevine has it that the actors were paid Rs 50 lakh to stage their marriage at the Bigg Boss 4 house.

In the latest incident, Bigg Boss 4 expelled participants Dolly Bindra and Sameer Soni on Wednesday for flouting norms and using abusive language.

Meanwhile, Rakhi Sawant’s use of abusive language at Rakhi ka Insaaf, which she is hosting, has been flayed by the ministry.

The ministry said “participants often reveal intimate details of their relationships, resulting in embarrassment to viewers watching the programme along with their families and also to the participants in the show.”

The Rakhi Sawant show was mired in controversy after one participant whom she had called “impotent” on the show, allegedly sunk into depression and died, for which his family members put the blame on Rakhi.

Instead of putting curbs on the myriad shows on various channels, it will be judicious if the information and broadcasting ministry comes up with clear-cut guidelines before shows like Big Boss 4, spiced up by Pamela Anderson, and Rakhi ka Insaaf are hosted.
