Group Suzuki Philippines in ARRC Asia Challenge Round 1 - It is a great achievement for the team Suzuki Pilipinas finishing off with impressive performances in the first round of the Asian Suzuki Challenges for Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) then April 17 to 19, 2015 at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.

The team of Enzo Rellosa, Mario Borbon and April King Mascardo chosen by Suzuki Philippines after being given three slots for the highly anticipated race based on their performance in 2014 and during the qualifying event last March. The delegation was led by the Philippine Racing Suzuki Specialist Noel Villapando assisted by the manager and mechanic team riders' - Yoyong Buncio of YRS Racing Team, Bobby Mencias of BMR and Rico Racing Team Racing Team Caraan of Vman.

After showing an increase in exercise time amid the day, Team Suzuki Philippines not fulfilled to progress  the lap records less and show the Raider R150 One Make Race ended the first day at 1:28, tremendous leap from the original team average time of 1: 30. Pushing for do better after his accident in qualifying that landed him in the last grid, Mascardo push harder finish in 10th place. Rellosa and Borbon followed in the 11th and 12th respectively.

Three boys continue to heat up the track on the 2nd day of the race because all of them landed in the top 10 with Mascardo crossing the finish line in 5th place (1: 27.558). This Bicol pride Rellosa finished in 7th place (1: 27.941) and Cebu Borbon in 9th place (1.28.480).

Group Suzuki PhilippinesOverall, Davao Mascardo riders placed 6th with Rellosa at 10 and Borbon at 12. Andreas G Indonesian and Adhi C took 1st and 2nd place overall with Thailand PATI Chooprathet in 3rd place.

It was not an easy race for Suzuki riders as the three-track all the way trained and not used to racing at a large circuit like Sepang speedway. This achievement but shows that with hard work and discipline, they could race alongside other riders who are more accustomed to a big race track. Team Suzuki Pilipinas will again race in Round 2 of the Suzuki Challenge Asia Asia Road Racing Championship in June at the Sentul International Circuit in Indonesia.
