Skoda Rapid Ultima: Would buyers opt for a new generation car instead?

Now, after the new Octavia and Superb, Skoda has rolled out the final version of the Rapid, the Skoda Rapid Ultima, in the country and it is to be seen whether buyers flock for the current generation Skoda or opt for vehicles of other companies, which have brought in new generation cars.

By rolling out the final version, is Skoda trying to just dump the Rapid Ultima before concentrating on the new generation car?

The Skoda Rapid Ultima.
After this last version of the Rapid rolls out, Skoda would rivet on the next generation car, which could be launched around June-July this year itself.

The Rapid Ultima will come in both petrol and diesel engine versions and carry a price tag of between Rs 8.33 lakh and Rs 9.97 lakh (showroom price Delhi).

Coming to the details, the Rapid Ultima will be rolled out for a limited period and the price range for the petrol model will be Rs 8.33-Rs 9.91 lakh. The diesel variant would be priced around Rs 9.40-Rs 9.97 lakh.
