2015 Yamaha FJ-09 Release Coming to America - We can not say it was surprising, yet Yamaha authoritatively declared the 2015 FJ-09 Sport Tourer earlier today in Hollywood, CA. Yamaha has been converted very popular FZ-09 into the sport touring machine with some significant changes, including a fuel tank that is much bigger, bigger, more comfortable seating for both rider and passenger, increase wind protection, a standard center stand and accessories Tour available (such as the saddlebags shown). Cypress, CA - November 3, 2014 - Yamaha FZ-09 has been a huge success, garnering praise enthusastic of motorists and the media alike. And now, Yamaha took the formula sportbike popular FZ-09 and add more flexibility with all-new 2015 FJ-09.

FJ-09 using crossplane-concept of the FZ-09, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, inline-three-cylinder, 847cc, engine fuel injection in a versatile package that provides a sporty, agile, and comfortable ride for everything from daily commuting -Today, for the spirit of the canyon-carving, to full-on tour.

With excellent acceleration, response and handling characteristics, FJ-09 offers an upright riding position for an anxiety free, agreeable experience, whether riding solo or with a passenger. FJ-09 sports a whole host of position-adjustable components-including the windscreen, handlebars, and seat are designed to better accommodate a wide range of riders and riding preferences. And, 4.8 gallon fuel tank allows you to log large many miles between fuel stops.

In addition, the FJ-09 is equipped with an electronic control technology that includes YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle), ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), and TCS (Traction Control System) to ensure the smooth running performance. And, as if that was not enough flexibility and adjustments, this bike is also equipped with a Yamaha D-MODE (Drive Mode) system variable-throttle-control, which allows the rider to choose the optimum engine characteristics for their riding situation.

Yamaha will offer a complete scope of custom frill  for FJ-09, including the above cases, side cases, a higher windscreen, heated grips and seat comfort saddle. 2015 FJ-09 will be accessible in two hues Matte Gray and red candy and will sell for $ 10,490, with bikes available at dealerships starting in December.

The new store, but the owner Tom Harrison has changed since the age of 17-when he left school to work in a garage that specializes in Minis. Over the past few years, he has built a bike under the carport little 'curb.

Tom acquire enough skills over the years to handle all its own fabrication, outsourcing just paint and trim. That explains why this sleek, boat-tail '73 CB has a display that sits somewhere between handcrafted and factories.

Originally purchased as a wreck, which CB750 is one of the first built on Tom bench-but take a back seat to more pressing ventures. Presently, much to our joy, he at last completed.

The fuel tank stock but beautiful new tail unit, formed from sheet metal. Tom began to transform and strengthen the back of the frame, and create a new seat pan. Chairs neatly enclosed waterproof tan leather. Underneath, the blanket stock, oil tank and air box have all been binned. This space is now divided between the new and the battery box, handmade oil tank elegant.

In the front row of Keihin CR carbs, fed by K & N filter. Tom modify and rebuild the machine itself, fitting kit 830cc pistons and a new cam for extra oomph. Cases have burst water clean.

Peak building is undoubtedly amazing, the system of four-to-two exhaust. Tom bent stainless steel header to trace the frame, and then hand-rolled-TIG welding mufflers themselves everything. We are sure it sounds as good as it looks.

In front, the fork has been lowered slightly, held in place by three CNC milled aluminum clamps. Steering is via a pair of clip-ons, suitable for raising-set pegs mounted on brackets CNC milled.

Rounding cockpit is small speedo, and a chrome lamp held by custom mountain. A small rear lights have been installed at the rear of the side-mount license plate bracket.

Wheels have been rebuilt with new spokes stainless steel, and the hub and rim powder-coated black satin. Criticism rejoice: Firestone Deluxe Champion tires that are currently installed will be replaced by Avons.

Finishing build off is the paint scheme as classy as its own mods: black, with OEM decals and badges. Can you think of a better livery to return Honda antique vibe?
